Soccer Recap: Dematha Extends Winning Streak to Five

Bishop O'Connell kept up with DeMatha until halftime on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Stags blew past the Knights 5-0. The result was nothing new for DeMatha, who have now won four contests by three goals or more so far this season.

The win was the fifth in a row for DeMatha, bringing their record up to 5-4-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five matchups. As for Bishop O'Connell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5-2.
