Basketball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin lost against Newmarket back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Franklin Tornadoes lost 58-36 to the Newmarket Mules. The matchup marked the Tornadoes' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Franklin now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Newmarket, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

The future could be bright for both Franklin and Newmarket: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Franklin will try to hand Pittsfield their fifth-straight loss when the two meet at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Newmarket will try to hand Sunapee their fourth-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
