Volleyball Recap: Boca Ciega Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Boca Ciega was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Mitchell Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2020.

Boca Ciega's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Mitchell, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coincidentally, Boca Ciega and Mitchell will both be playing Indian Rocks Christian the next time they take the court. The Pirates will head out to face the Eagles at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, while the Mustangs will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
