The Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders will head out to take on the Point Loma Pointers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Mater Dei Catholic sitting on six straight victories and Point Loma on ten.

On Friday, Mater Dei Catholic was fully in charge, breezing past Eastlake 42-13. With the Crusaders ahead 28-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

That dominant aerial defense primarily came from four players: Johnathan Hawthorne, Larell Parker, Marcus McNeill II, and Caron Scott, who each logged one passes deflected. Another passer making a difference was Henry Heuser, who threw for 102 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes.

Mater Dei Catholic's record now sits at 7-3. As for Point Loma, their record is now 10-0.
