Soccer Game Preview: Warren Central vs. Bowling Green

Warren Central hasn't had much luck against Bowling Green recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Dragons will venture away from home to take on the Purples at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Warren Central took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over Butler County. Warren Central haven't had any issues with Butler County recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Bowling Green faced Daviess County in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Purples skirted past the Panthers 1-0. That's two games straight that Bowling Green have won by just one goal.

Bowling Green's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Warren Central, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-12.

Warren Central might still be hurting after the 16-0 loss they got from Bowling Green when the teams last played back in August. Can the Dragons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
