Volleyball Recap: Beamer Titans vs. Enumclaw Hornets

After flying high against Decatur last Friday, Beamer came back down to earth. The Beamer Titans fell just short of the Enumclaw Hornets by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Beamer started the match hot and won the firsttwo sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 15-25, 25-22, 25-12, 15-7.

Despite the loss, Beamer still got an impressive performance from Annette Sagale, who had 18 digs and two aces. Sagale is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in the last four games she's played dating back to last season.

Even though they lost, Beamer was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in five consecutive matchups.

Beamer's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Enumclaw, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
