Softball Recap: Limestone Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Limestone's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Brimfield Indians on Friday.

Limestone has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Brimfield, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 19-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Limestone will welcome Metamora at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Redbirds will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Rockets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Brimfield, they will take on Illini Bluffs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Indians have won 18 straight at home dating back to last season, while the Tigers won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
