Football Recap: Turner Comes Up Short

Turner and Mosinee squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Turner had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Indians and fell 41-7. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 220th, while the Indians are ranked 69th).

Turner has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Mosinee, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Turner does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mosinee, they will face off against Evansville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils' defense has only allowed 7.7 points per game this season, so the Indians' offense will have their work cut out for them.
