Sioux Falls Christian had won three straight on the road, but on Thursday they bumped their record up to 11-11 to make it four. They walked away with a 10-5 win over the Wagner Red Raiders. Sioux Falls Christian got a massive performance out of Dehlia Doop-Blanchard, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Maya Nelson, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
As for Wagner, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.
