Volleyball Recap: Georgetown Comes Up Short

Georgetown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the North Reading Hornets, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Royals of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Georgetown's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for North Reading, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0.

Georgetown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Triton Regional on the 24th. As for North Reading, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Newburyport on the 24th.
