The Gainesville Hurricanes are taking a road trip to square off against the Suwannee Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Gainesville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season.

Gainesville is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Buchholz on Monday. The Hurricanes fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 2-1. Gainesville have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their goal came courtesy of Kaeden Rosselle, who's now up to four this season.

Meanwhile, Suwannee didn't have quite enough to beat Wakulla on Monday and fell 2-1. Suwannee haven't had much luck with Wakulla recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Suwannee now has a losing record of 4-5-2. As for Gainesville, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Gainesville took their victory against Suwannee in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 7-0 score. Will the Hurricanes repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
