Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Springlake-Earth). They put the hurt on the Petersburg Buffaloes with a sharp 16-4 win on Friday. The Wolverines not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since February 27th.

Springlake-Earth's victory bumped their record up to 6-7-1. As for Petersburg, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Springlake-Earth will square off against rival Nazareth at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Petersburg is set to challenge their familiar foe Crosbyton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
