Baseball Game Preview: Marshall Barristers vs. Eagle Rock Eagles

For the second straight game, Marshall will face off against Eagle Rock. The Barristers will face off against the Eagles at 2:15 p.m. on Thursday. Marshall's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Eagle Rock's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Marshall is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Eagle Rock 11-1 on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Barristers considering their two-run performance the game before.

Nicholas Allan spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
