Basketball Recap: Rochester Comes Up Short

Rochester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 77-49 loss at the hands of the Shenango Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-32 back in January.

Rochester's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Shenango, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season.

Coming up, Rochester will face off against Beaver Falls at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Shenango, they will take on Quaker Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Quaker Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.1 points per game this season.
