Volleyball Recap: Overland Christian Comes Up Short

Overland Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Christian Learning Center Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Overland Christian was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-23, 25-17.

Overland Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Christian Learning Center, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Overland Christian is set to square off against their familiar foe El Dorado Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Christian Learning Center will take on rival Plaza Heights Christian Academy on Friday.
