Soccer Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt lost against Bishop Blanchet back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Roughriders fell 4-2 to the Bears. While losing is never fun, Roosevelt can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 55th, while Bishop Blanchet are ranked sixth).

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-2. As for Bishop Blanchet, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 8-0-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Roosevelt will take on rival Lakeside at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Bishop Blanchet is set to face off against their familiar foe Seattle Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
