Saturday just wasn't the day for Raritan's offense. They came up short against the Colonia Patriots on Saturday, falling 7-0. The Rockets' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Raritan saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Travis Evernham, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Raritan's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Colonia, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Raritan will face off against Freehold Township at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Colonia, they will square off against Spotswood at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
