Bainbridge has gone 8-2 against Westover recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bainbridge Bearcats will look to defend their home pitch against the Westover Patriots at 5:30 p.m. Bainbridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.8 goals per game this season.

Bainbridge had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the ten-goal drubbing they dealt Monroe on Tuesday. Bainbridge never let Monroe get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bearcats in their matchups with the Golden Tornadoes: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Westover came up short against Cairo on Tuesday and fell 4-2.

The win got Bainbridge back to even at 3-3. As for Westover, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Bainbridge took their victory against Westover in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0. Will Bainbridge repeat their success, or does Westover have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
