Softball Recap: Midland Takes a Loss

After flying high against LaGrange last Saturday, Midland came back down to earth. Midland lost 11-0 to the Breaux Bridge Tigers on Monday.

Midland saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mackenzie Credeur, who went 2-for-3 with one triple.

Midland has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. The victory snapped Breaux Bridge's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-14 record.

Looking ahead, Midland will host Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Breaux Bridge, they will head out on the road to challenge Highland Baptist Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
