Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Academy Falls to Brunswick Christian Academy in First Game of Season

Faith Christian Academy kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Brunswick Christian Academy Eagles, falling 72-46. The defeat continues a trend for the Angels in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Despite the loss, Faith Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Wyatt Linkous went 7-for-15 on his way to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Asher Hearne, who posted five points.

The victory keeps Brunswick Christian Academy at an undefeated 4-0.

Faith Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Crossroads Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on December 1. As for Brunswick Christian Academy, they will take on Appling Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
