Volleyball Recap: Clinton Extends Winning Streak to Three

Clinton had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Lakeland Vikings by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Cardinals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Clinton easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-10.

Addison Meeker and Kylie Moran certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Meeker had 14 digs, while Moran had 11 kills. Meeker is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Clinton's win bumped their record up to 17-10-4. As for Lakeland, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-15-1.

Clinton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Adrian on the 18th. As for Lakeland, they will head out to take on Lincoln at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
