Flag Football Recap: Henley Kilpatrick Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Pinson Valley

While Albertville put up some points on Monday, the same can't be said for Pinson Valley. The Aggies blew past the Indians 22-0. Considering the Aggies have won five contests by more than 20 points this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Albertville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Henley Kilpatrick, who threw for 119 yards and three touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Kilpatrick a new career-high in rushing yards (18). Ella Brown was in the mix too, providing Albertville with two scores.

Albertville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off six passes before the game was over. Bethany Strickland led the group effort, picking up four of those interceptions all by herself. Diamond Perez has been hot recently, having also posted at least one defended passe the last three times she's played.

Albertville's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Pinson Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Albertville will face off against Oxford at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. Pinson Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
