It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but North Fork had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Wiggins Tigers with a sharp 7-1 win. The Miners not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 19th (when they won 11-5).

Mario Gama made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits.
