Basketball Recap: West Jessamine Takes a Loss

West Jessamine suffered their closest defeat since February 9, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Southwestern Warriors by a score of 46-44. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-44 back in January.

This is the second loss in a row for West Jessamine and nudges their season record down to 15-10. As for Southwestern, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 21-13.

As of now, neither West Jessamine nor Southwestern have any future games scheduled.
