Baseball Recap: Hillcrest Wins Going Away Against La Sierra

Hillcrest won the last time they faced La Sierra and things went their way on Monday too. The Hillcrest Trojans put the hurt on the La Sierra Eagles with a sharp 14-4 win.

The team relied heavily on James Henson, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI, three doubles, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Sampson, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Hillcrest kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March of 2024.

Hillcrest now has a winning record of 2-1. As for La Sierra, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Hillcrest didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-2 draw against Ramona on the 25th. As for La Sierra, they will face off against Redlands at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
