Baseball Recap: Lakewood Comes Up Short

Lakewood lost against Columbine last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers lost 9-1 to the Rebels. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lakewood saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was CJ Mahoney, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Lakewood's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Columbine, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-7.

Lakewood didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-4 win against Dakota Ridge on the 12th. As for Columbine, they will host Valor Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
