While Shelby Maddox delivered a dominant effort on Tuesday, a win just wasn't in the cards for PikeView. Despite the loss, Maddox was still locked in as she didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 15 consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Maddox and PikeView will take on Shady Spring at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers have some work to do to even out the 2-7 series between these two since April of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
