Mifflinburg hasn't had much luck against Loyalsock Township recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Mifflinburg Wildcats will host the Loyalsock Township Lancers at 7:30 p.m. Mifflinburg will be strutting in after a victory while Loyalsock Township will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Mifflinburg turned things around against Hughesville on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 45-28 win over the Spartans. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 224th, while the Spartans are ranked 622nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Loyalsock Township was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-50 heartbreaker at the hands of Bloomsburg.

Mifflinburg now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Loyalsock Township, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
