Volleyball Recap: Pioneer Takes a Loss

Pioneer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Del Campo Cougars.

While Pioneer ultimately came up short, they really made Del Campo work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-12, 14-25, 28-26, 25-21.

Pioneer's record now sits at 1-4. As for Del Campo, they moved to 1-2 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Pioneer will head out on the road to challenge Marysville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pioneer is facing Marysville at the right time seeing as Marysville is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Del Campo, they will welcome Nevada Union at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Nevada Union will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Del Campo surely won't give up without a fight.
