Recap: Seymour Wildcats vs. Woodland Regional Hawks
The Seymour Wildcats lost to the Woodland Regional Hawks back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Seymour managed a 53-49 win over Woodland Regional. The win made it back-to-back wins for Seymour.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Seymour to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jillian Keough, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine assists. Keough hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Skylar Barton was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
Seymour's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Woodland Regional, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-10.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Naugatuck the next time they take the court. Seymour will host Naugatuck at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Woodland Regional will host them on Monday.
