Great Bridge had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Ocean Lakes Dolphins 3-0 on Tuesday. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-20, 25-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Great Bridge will challenge Cape Henry Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, Ocean Lakes and Kellam will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:00 p.m. on September 4.
