South Grand Prairie is 10-0 against Lamar since December of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The South Grand Prairie Warriors will head out on the road to challenge the Lamar Vikings at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in South Grand Prairie's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.

Last Friday, South Grand Prairie humbled Arlington with a 73-36 victory. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 64th, while the Colts are ranked 481st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Lamar can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against Haltom by a score of 56-43.

South Grand Prairie is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points per game. As for Lamar, their victory bumped their record up to 9-19.

Everything came up roses for South Grand Prairie against Lamar when the teams last played on January 3rd, as the squad secured a 75-35 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for South Grand Prairie since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
