John Hardin's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Larue County Hawks 2-1. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Hawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day John Hardin got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 21-25, 26-24.

John Hardin found their leader in freshman Khloe Yasin, who had 15 digs and two aces.

John Hardin's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Larue County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

John Hardin will head out on the road to take on Elizabethtown at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Larue County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hart County at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
