Baseball Recap: Teaneck Highwaymen vs. Wood-Ridge Blue Devils
Teaneck fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Wood-Ridge on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 7-6.
Jayden Castro and Deyton Walcott stepped up to the plate in a big way. Castro went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Walcott got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Julian Vasquez, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
