Baseball Recap: Page County Takes a Loss

Page County managed to slip by Strasburg the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers lost 12-2 to the Rams on Tuesday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Page County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Shifflett, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Page County's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Strasburg, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Page County is set to face off against their familiar foe Stonewall Jackson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Strasburg will square off against rival Luray at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
