Volleyball Recap: Bismarck's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

After flying high against Grandview on Monday, Bismarck came back down to earth. The Indians fell 3-1 to the Potosi Trojans on Thursday. The Indians have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-18, 19-25, 25-23.

Macyn McCarthy continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Potosi, getting 34 digs and six assists. Those 34 digs gave McCarthy a new career-high.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bismarck fell to 5-1. As for Potosi, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Bismarck didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Risco on the 12th. As for Potosi, they have also already played their next game, a 1-1 tie against Jefferson on the 13th.
