Meanwhile, Eagle faced Pocatello in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Eagle narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Pocatello 50-48.

Owyhee's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Eagle, their win bumped their record up to 11-2.
