Baseball Game Preview: Mount Abram Roadrunners vs. Monmouth Academy Mustangs

The Mount Abram Roadrunners will face off against the Monmouth Academy Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Mount Abram barely beat Lisbon the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Roadrunners never let the Greyhounds get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Roadrunners in their matchups with the Greyhounds: they've now won three in a row.

Logan Dube was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. Dube was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.

That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2024. Ash Rollins was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Meanwhile, Monmouth Academy got the win against Boothbay on Friday by a conclusive 11-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Monmouth Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Mount Abram, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
