Volleyball Recap: Carter-Riverside Takes a Loss

Carter-Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Castleberry Lions. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Carter-Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Castleberry, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Carter-Riverside's road trip will continue as they head out to face Western Hills at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Castleberry, they will challenge Venus at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
