Soccer Game Preview: Tahquitz vs. Liberty

The Tahquitz Titans will head out on the road to face off against the Liberty Bison at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Tahquitz is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Hemet on Thursday. The Titans and the Bulldogs finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Liberty fell victim to Paloma Valley and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that Liberty have lost by exactly two goals.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. Tahquitz's draw gives them a new season record of 1-4-1.

Tahquitz took their victory against Liberty when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 4-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
