Volleyball Recap: Seneca Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Seneca waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Girard Yellowjackets as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-20, 25-8.

Seneca's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sophia Primavere led the charge by getting 18 assists and three aces. That's the most assists Primavere has posted since back in September.

Seneca's win bumped their record up to 8-12-3. As for Girard, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

As of now, neither Seneca nor the Yellowjackets have any future games scheduled.
