Recap: Stratford Academy Eagles vs. John Milledge Academy Trojans
After a string of three wins, the Stratford Academy Eagles's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of John Milledge Academy by a score of 61-58. Stratford Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as John Milledge Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Despite the loss, Stratford Academy still got an impressive performance from Khalil Green, who scored 25 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Green has scored all season. Joshua Hughes was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Stratford Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for John Milledge Academy, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Trinity Christian the next time they take the court. John Milledge Academy will host Trinity Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Stratford Academy will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
