Basketball Recap: Waurika Gets the Win

After losing to Ringling the last time they met, Waurika decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Waurika Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Ringling Blue Devils on Tuesday, sneaking past 32-30.

Waurika is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Ringling, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waurika will welcome Empire at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Empire will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Waurika surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ringling, they will challenge Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Ringling is facing Central at the right time seeing as Central is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
