Ava Geyer put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in May of 2024 on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, she produced her best game of the campaign: she struck out 20 batters over ten innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.
