Softball Recap: Nitro Comes Up Short

Nitro lost against Point Pleasant back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats lost 19-3 to the Big Blacks. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ryleigh Click was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Nitro's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Point Pleasant, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-11.

Nitro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Point Pleasant, they have already played their next match, a 10-0 loss against Winfield on the 7th.
