Football Recap: Riverview Sharks vs. Hillsborough Terriers
Riverview had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 26-0 to the Hillsborough Terriers. The defeat leaves the Sharks without a win on the season.
Rod Mack rushed for 47 yards.
Cole Berger was his top target, picking up 28 receiving yards.
Hillsborough's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tariq Johnson, who rushed for 53 yards and two touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Plaisir, who rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
Riverview will head out on the road to square off against Riverview Sarasota at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Riverview focused on turnovers this week as team gave up four on Friday. As for Hillsborough, they will welcome East Bay at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
