Baseball Recap: Tree of Life Christian Wins Going Away Against Columbus Torah Academy

Tree of Life Christian's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Columbus Torah Academy Lions as they made off with a 14-3 victory. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered a 4-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Tree of Life Christian let Eli Vascura and Andrew Jackson run wild. Vascura went 2-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one double, while Jackson scored three runs and stole four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those five RBI gave Vascura a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Bishoy Bishara, who scored three runs while going 1-for-2.

The win got Tree of Life Christian back to even at 1-1.

Tree of Life Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-2 victory against Liberty Christian Academy on the 7th. As for Columbus Torah Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 18-3 win against Foxfire on the 8th.
