Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Davie). They put the hurt on the R.J. Reynolds Demons with a sharp  20-7 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the War Eagles, who have now won six matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Hunter Potts was  incredible,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double. Those  four  RBI gave  him a new career-high.  Brandon Forrest also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  double of the season.
 Davie  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .676. They are  a perfect 5-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Davie's victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 8-12. As for R.J. Reynolds,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 7-11.
 Coming up, Davie will challenge South Iredell at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  win, something the War Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. R.J. Reynolds will be paying especially close attention to Davie's  game: after Davie faces off against South Iredell, they'll take on R.J. Reynolds again  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
