Soccer Game Preview: Palmer vs. The Vanguard School

The Palmer Terrors will square off against The Vanguard School at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Palmer is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They came out on top in a nail-biter against James Irwin on Thursday, sneaking past 2-1.

Lyte Dorsch and Schuyler Mutti scored both of Palmer's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, The Vanguard School's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. Neither they nor Atlas Preparatory School could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result kept The Vanguard School happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 5th.

With that draw, The Vanguard School's record moves to 8-1-1. As for Palmer, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4-1.
