Mabank is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They strolled past Wills Point with points to spare, taking the game 37-22. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 107th, while the Tigers are ranked 423rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, everything went Lake Dallas' way against Pinkston on Thursday as Lake Dallas made off with a 40-18 win.

Mabank better keep an eye on Maizen Gillam. She was instrumental in Lake Dallas' win, going 6-for-14 on her way to 21 points and four steals. Haylie Jones was another key player, putting up eight points and nine rebounds.
